Barberino Designer Outlet

Master plan, architectural design of the shopping centre from earlier concept stage to final design, supervision of works.

Barberino Designer Outlet is a shopping centre consisting of approximately 130 retail units for non-food sales, as well as restaurants and parking lots for approximately 2,400 cars.
The project includes the public urbanisation works for the Municipality of Barberino. During phase 1 have been developed 2,500 m of city roads, including four new bridges and a roundabout, the hydraulic and naturalistic arrangement of a 1.5 km section of the Sieve riverbed, with a new cycle track, as well as the works to connect the new roads to existing the infrastructure networks.

The project has been awarded in the cathegory: “Innovative Design and Development of a New Project”, during the International Design and Development Awards – International Council of Shopping Centres (05.12.2007).
