23 years after the opening of Castel Romano Designer Outlet, we have completed the first phase of the shopping centre’s refurbishment.

A total of 2,000 sqm of tuff-clad façades have been renovated and brought into line with current seismic regulations through the application of reinforced plaster and the installation of anti-topple systems for the more delicate natural stone cladding. A further 1,300 sqm of existing façades have been re-plastered and repainted.

Beyond the façades, the public realm along the centre’s streets has been entirely refreshed, with an emphasis on creating generous green areas within the central planters.

In total, 4,100 sqm of piazzas and pedestrian routes have been upgraded with new paving and landscaped areas. New mature trees have been planted, along with rich compositions of shrubs, grasses and flowers, contributing to a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

To improve comfort during the summer months, a new shading system has been installed, comprising four pergolas and seven Gennius Kheope retractable awnings, covering a total area of 800 sqm.

The lighting scheme has also been significantly enhanced, with a new system for the landscaped areas and soft ambient lighting integrated into the benches, completing the centre’s refreshed aesthetic.

As a final touch, to offer visitors an even more welcoming experience, a new 350 sqm Guest Lounge has been created—conceived as a modern, comfortable space for relaxation and hospitality.
