Works have been completed on the new Community Hospital within the Pietro Milani Healthcare Facility in Noventa Vicentina. This strategic project, funded by NextGenerationEU, aims to strengthen and reorganise community healthcare services through models based on proximity, continuity of care, and integrated local service provision.

The project has delivered fully refurbished facilities through the comprehensive redevelopment of the existing building. The works included internal demolition, removal of finishes and building services installations, replacement of windows and external doors, and measures to improve the building’s energy performance and acoustic comfort. The spatial layout and integration of building services were designed to support efficient and safe care pathways within a modern healthcare environment fully connected to the wider local healthcare network.

Particular attention was given to the flexibility of the spaces, safety requirements and fire protection compliance, as well as to the incorporation of high-performance construction systems and building services. These include plumbing and sanitary systems, heating and ventilation installations, medical gases, electrical systems and data networks, all functionally distributed throughout the facility to ensure environmental comfort, accessibility and a high-quality environment for both patients and healthcare professionals.

HYDEA was responsible for the preparation of the Detailed Design (Executive Design) and for coordinating the multidisciplinary design team, ensuring effective integration across all technical disciplines and the overall consistency of the design solutions with the objectives of the public investment programme.
