As part of the project in Matanzas (Cuba), a training programme has been launched in Valencia for technicians and managers from EAAM and the Municipality of Matanzas. The initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency and reduce Non-Revenue Water.
The programme is designed for 35 technicians, divided into five groups, with each group spending one week in Valencia. Training is organised by HYDEA in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Valencia and is funded by the French Development Agency (AFD).
So far, two groups have successfully completed the course, with excellent results in terms of both engagement and knowledge transfer.
