We are proud to have participated in the PDUI2 program as lead partner, coordinating the integrated design and supervision of the works.
The works of the first tranche, inaugurated on January 22, included the construction of new roads, the installation of new drinking water networks, the construction of new commercial and community spaces, markets, sports areas, and a new gendarmerie nationale barracks. A concrete result, the outcome of a participatory and multidisciplinary approach that placed the needs of the residents of the Layableh–Moustiquaire neighborhoods in Balbala, Djibouti, at the center.
On the same day, the foundation stone was also laid for the second phase of the project, which includes further interventions for the benefit of the community and during which Hydea will continue to support the Agence Djiboutienne de Développment Social.
