The Metropolitan City of Florence recently awarded to Hydea a Framework Agreement to perform structural design activities connected to the seismic vulnerability assessment on some public buildings of its property.
The buildings interested by this intervention are 17, most of which schools, including the high schools Guido Castelnuovo”, the Liceo Scientifico “Antonio Gramsci”, the ISIS “Gobetti-Volta”, and the Liceo Salvemini-Duca d’Aosta. The assignment includes the structural reliefs, the investigation campaign, diagnostic and geological tests, both static and seismic structural verifications, and the design of necessary structural adjustments, in case structural deficiencies are identified.
Hydea is in a temporary grouping with Hlab Engineering – its spin-off engineering company – and the geologist Riccardo Martelli.
