Hydea made its contribution to the opening of the first Museum of Illusions in Florence, providing architectural advice for the designing of the exhibition. The company also carried out the authorisation process to obtain the municipal permits for the realisation of the project.

The museum is located in a historic building in Borgo degli Albizi and it presents an interactive and multimedia exhibition, in which illusions meet science and art.

Spread over 600 mq, the exhibition is divided into three different areas: a souvenir shop and two exhibition rooms. One is dedicated to historical illusions while the other hosts science and optical illusions.

The client asked Hydea for assistance with administrative paperwork and for advice to adapt the exhibition at the existing building, thus maintaining the existing structure, installations, and fire-fighting system.

Thanks to this intervention the palace could preserve its prestige and usability by the public.
