In the framework of the British Council-funded Vernacular Heritage Pilot Enhancement Project in As Samou’, managed by Hydea in partnership with the Municipality of As Samou’ and Habash Consulting Engineers, the As Samou’ Cultural Youth Center was finally inaugurated on July 29th 2019 at the presence of Mrs. Alison Hall, Deputy Consul General at the British Consulate General in Jerusalem. The center is hosted in a traditional hosh (hosh Al Aqeeli) that was restored and adaptively reused for the purpose.
