Project implementation and capacity building for heritage preservation, city regeneration, and infrastructure upgrades; assistance to Shandong PPMO in preparing a management plan.

In Shandong, many historic sites and walled cities face decay due to long-standing maintenance gaps, poor reconstruction, and inadequate visitor infrastructure. In cities like Qufu and Zoucheng, valuable heritage assets are at risk, diminishing both livability and tourist appeal. As Project Management Consultant, HYDEA supported implementation and strengthened the capacity of local agencies in heritage conservation, city regeneration, and infrastructure upgrades, while also assisting Shandong PPMO in drafting a management plan for the World Heritage-listed Confucian sites in Qufu.
