Development of a Geographic Database Management System and conduction of a feasibility study to evaluate the technical, institutional, and economic viability of a cultural heritage information resource management system.
Abu Dhabi possesses a rich array of cultural resources, both tangible and intangible. However, limited public awareness has led authorities to prioritize their protection, conservation, and promotion. To support this effort, ADACH (known today as DCT) commissioned Hydea and its partner Liberologico (Pisa, Italy) to develop a feasibility study and conceptual model for an information system to enhance cultural resource management, including advanced inventorying and cataloguing procedures.
