Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet

NOVENTA DI PIAVE, VENICE | ITALY

Baseline studies, preliminary design, final design and construction supervision services (architectural works).

In association with Proteco Engineering (permits, design of basic infrastructure).

Far from the anonymous all-season buildings that are characteristic to many commercial centers in Europe and elsewhere, the over 140 plus luxury brand stores of Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet are hosted in an architectural setting which is clearly inspired by to the local style.

As is the case with other shopping malls designed by Hydea, Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet capitalizes on the legacy of the local architectural tradition, being influenced by the classical style of Andrea Palladio and the world-famous Veneto villas.

A leitmotif in vernacular architecture, arcades are also among the main architectural features of the shopping center not only because they protect the pedestrian walkways, but also because they are relevant to the architectural discourse, enabling a dialogue to be established between light and shadow, empty space and mass.

Landscaped areas within the premises and in the car parks add to the environmental setting and contribute to the enhancement of the commercial center.
